This painting right here, the boy…a boy is gonna be one of those paintings in like 30 something years, you’ll see in artbooks for college. I can feel it in my bones.
I love villains. Stanning villains is kind of my thing. So if they were gonna make Daenerys evil I could have gotten behind it if they’d at least done it well. This is just trashing her entire character at the last minute.
Dany has done ruthless things before but nothing worse than what Stannis, Robb, Jon, or even Tyrion did to their enemies. She tried to avoid letting innocent people get hurt at every turn. If that didn’t matter to her then she could have just destroyed King’s Landing as soon as she arrived in Westeros. She was always shown to be caring, compassionate, and merciful.
This mad queen storyline doesn’t fit the Daenerys Targaryen we’ve been watching for almost a decade. It’s a complete butchery of her character. I’m so sad and angry about what this show has done to her.
